Control on updating to Windows 10

We are sure that it is very important for you to know what happens to your own devices. Microsoft allows you to judge whether to update to the latest Windows version or not. In case you still prefer to switch the automatic updates off, we recommend you to check manually the Windows Update option when you do not use metered connection, so that you can install the updates marked as “Recommended” or “Important”. Windows 10 will net update automatically when you use metered connection, except when the updates are connected with security.

Windows 10 for users with non-genuine versions of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.

The free of charge Windows 10 version is accessible for all licensed users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. At present, Microsoft are trying to figure out how many of the users of non-licensed copies of Windows 7 and 8.1 have tried to update to Windows 10 and how many of them have then bought a license from Windows store. Soon it is expected in USA that all non-licensed users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will have the opportunity to update to genuine Windows 10 with only one click in Windows Store.
